Failure to pay:

In the event of your payment method declining or non-payment, we will attempt to re-try your payment 3 times. After 4 unsuccessful payment tries, your account will be cancelled and you will lose access to all data inside your account immediately.

Term and Cancellation:

This agreement is entered into by both parties for a duration of 30-days and auto-renews every week thereafter.

Either party has the right to cancel this agreement at any point (no long-term contracts) with a 14-day written notice.

What’s the pricing?

The base cost is $100/week per Instagram Account. Existing PubHero customers receive $35 off their PubHero subscription when they are enrolled in Socialight as well.

What if I have multiple publications and Instagram accounts—how does pricing work?

Pricing is based entirely on volume of DMs, which is managed by each active publication. $100 per week covers 50 DMs in one IG Account (one publication). You can add additional IG Accounts (publications) as a separate subscription at $100 per week. We are not able to split the DMs between separate IG Accounts (for example, 2 IG Accounts with 25 DMs per account).

Is there a contract? Or is it week-to-week? Can I pause the service if I’m on vacation?

It’s a week-to-week service. No long-term contracts are required. You can Cancel the service anytime with a 14-day written notice (email is fine).  That said, we do limit the number of times you can Cancel and re-start in the program to avoid “gaming” the system. You are able to Cancel and re-start the program once in a two-month period. For example, if you Cancel for a two-week period in July, you can sign back up for the service immediately after that two-week period. If you then choose to Cancel again in August, you would not be able to re-start the program until September rolls around. As a general best-practice, you should avoid cancelling/pausing your account, even while out of town or on vacation for a week or two -- leads can still be generated and be waiting for you to hit the ground running when you are back in action! 

Can multiple ADs in the same area sign up for Socialight? How do you handle overlapping territories?

We only allow 1 AD per market to sign up for Socialight. This is to avoid having 4-5 ADs in the exact same market signing up, resulting in multiple DM conversations to the same companies, from different IG accounts. We define a “market” as an area with a population between 50,000 - 200,000 people and we carve out each market based on the geography and local delineation between markets. In other words, this is a completely subjective process that we define internally based on our detailed market research. When you sign up, we will confirm your market availability  before we start you in the program. If another AD already has rights to your market, we will let you know ASAP and refund your payment right away, placing you on a waitlist with first rights to that market should the current AD cancel their Socialight service.

Is this connected to PubHero?

Yes, it complements PubHero. Socialight can work alongside your PubHero account OR independently (in other words, a PubHero account is not required to use Socialight).

How do we receive the leads—email, text, or Instagram? Do you email us the 50 businesses each week?

No, we handle the outreach for you. You’ll receive the contact info (e.g., phone numbers) for those who respond positively via email, and on a Google Spreadsheet we create and share with you. We may add in a text notification in the future as well. If you are an existing PubHero customer, we can send a text (SMS) notification as well if you’d like.

Are you delivering leads or booked appointments?

We generate qualified leads (phone numbers of interested decision-makers); booking appointments is your follow-up responsibility. However, we do provide weekly coaching led by Aaron Klein to help you with your Call Before to properly setup your appointments, along with closing techniques and coaching. 

Do we provide our own lead list, or do you find them?

We provide the leads using the proven search process that Aaron has fine-tuned over the years.

Can we do this ourselves with your training?

Yes, anyone can do this on their own by investing their own time into the program. Send us an email if you’d like your own self-implementation guide if you prefer a DIY approach.

Does this violate our franchise agreement? Are we allowed to do cold outreach?

Of course, you will want to consult a licensed attorney for official legal advice surrounding your Franchise Agreement, but the methodology we use to find leads, and reach out to them directly is fully in compliance with the Instagram Terms of Service. Our outreach is individualized and not conducted using automation or “mass spam” outreach, which stays in line with current Instagram guidelines.

Can leads from Socialight be uploaded into PubHero for follow-up?

Yes! If you’re an existing PubHero customer, we can help you take your IG leads and enroll them in the automated follow-up campaigns inside your PubHero account for additional nurturing and outreach if desired.

What’s the typical success rate from 50 DMs?

Results always vary based on a number of factors, but we’re seeing a return anywhere between 3–15 qualified phone numbers per week from 50 targeted DMs.

When do the coaching office hours with Aaron start?

Office hours details will be emailed out to you once you sign up for Socialight. Dates and times vary based on group enrollment.

How do I get in if the program is full?

You’ll be placed on a waitlist, which puts you first in line for our next openings, which happens every couple of weeks. You’ll be notified as soon as new slots open.

Does this work for both BeLocal and STROLL?

Yes, Socialight works with both brands and can tailor messaging accordingly. The messaging is adapted to the specific brand and publication style for better alignment.

Do we respond to leads ourselves, or do you handle that?

We manage the conversation with leads all the way up until the point that we secure the phone number. From that point, you are responsible for following up with the leads once the phone number or contact info is provided.

Will we see the conversation with the lead?

Yes, you’ll have access to the outreach conversation to see context and how the lead responded.

Are the staff sending messages based in the U.S. or overseas?

A mix of trained team members are used, some based in the U.S. and some overseas, depending on capacity.

When will the next group launch if I’m on the waitlist?

If you’re on the waitlist, you’ll be notified as soon as your group is scheduled, typically on a rolling weekly basis.
